Juneau Cabaret to perform spotlighting life, music of Duke Ellington

Juneau Cabaret, partnership with the Friends of the Alaska State Library, Archives & Museum, presents The Great American Songbook Series, featuring the songs and history of famous American composers of the genre. February’s presentation spotlights the life and music of Duke Ellington, in honor of Black History Month. Vocalists are John Haywood, Erika Lee, Jocelyn Miles, Latoya Sherron, and Taylor Vidic. Accompanists are Clay Good, Tom Locher, and Luke Weld.

This performance marks the second in a series of monthly presentations featuring famous popular composers at the APK Building. It is pay-as-you-can.
