Internet safety class open to public
More than than 77 million children ages 5-17 will regularly used the Internet last year.

An Internet safety seminar will be presented by the Safe Schools and Healthy Students Initiative through Juneau School District from 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at the Juneau Downtown Library. The event is free and open to the public.

A recent I-SAFE America study revealed 50 percent of children do not discuss Internet safety with their parents.

The I-SAFE program provides awareness and knowledge that enables the students to surf the web safely, recognize and avoid dangerous or unlawful online behavior.
