Disco Benefit

A fund-raiser will be held for medical treatment for Beth Weigel. SupaStar, a

1970's disco benefit, will be held at 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Hangar Ballroom while DJ Dy-no-mite funks-it-out with his mint collection of vinyl. Hit the thrift, dig? Cause there'll be big prizes for the

macho-ist and foxiest, the twister tournament and the hula-hoop contest. Admission is a donation of $10-$50. Guests must be over 21.

Swing Dancing

Start off the month righteously and hip, by taking swing and charleston

instruction with John Leo and Alysia McLain. Bring

dancing shoes to The Rock Dump from 7:30-9 p.m. every Wednesday through March 22nd. No prior dance experience necessary, and you can come alone or with a partner. Classes are $10 each on a drop-in basis. For more information, call John Leo at 957-2776.

Contra Dance

Thursday Night Contra Dance, Feb. 23, from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m., at the Terry Miller Legislative Offices gymnasium (the Old Capital School gym). Use 6th St. entrance. Dance with the Starr Hill Gang and dance caller Jim Grammel. All dances taught. Beginners welcome. No partners necessary. Bring clean, soft-soled shoes for dancing. Call: 321-3109.
