LeConte out of service for steering upgrade
The M/V LeConte will be out of service through March 3, for additional work on its steering system.

Some of the maintenance will be performed while the ship is underway to inconvenience the least number of passengers, but the AMHS has determined that a brief period of disruption was unavoidable, said AMHS General Manager Capt. John Falvey.

MV LeConte service between Juneau and Haines during this period is cancelled and all passengers are being contacted for rebooking to other vessels.

The M/V Glacier and M/V St. Aquilina have been contracted to provide alternative service to Hoonah, Tenakee Springs, and Angoon on the following schedules:

M/V Glacier:

Departs from Juneau on Feb. 22, 24 and March 1, and returns the following day.

Leave Juneau 10 a.m.

Arrive Angoon 8 p.m.

Leave Angoon 9 p.m.

Arrive Juneau 7 a.m.

M/V St. Aquilina:

Departs from Juneau on Fridays Feb. 23, and March 2.

Leave Juneau 7 a.m.

Leave Hoonah 9:30 a.m.

Leave Tenakee Springs 12:15 p.m.

Leave Angoon 2 p.m.

Leave Angoon 2:30 p.m.

Leave Hoonah 5:45 p.m.

Arrive Juneau 7:45 p.m.

Sunday Feb. 25

Leave Juneau 7 a.m.

Leave Hoonah 9:30 a.m.

Arrive Angoon 12:15 p.m.

Leave Angoon 12:45 p.m.

Leave Tenakee Spr. 3 p.m.

Leave Hoonah 5:45 p.m.
