Pets awaiting ADOPTION
Juneau Gastineau Humane Society Shelter: 789-0260

Jesse is a cat that falls under the description "quirky". She has earned this title primarily because she is a cat who actually likes baths. Jesse is about ten years old and has a calm and patient way of interacting with kids. She enjoys being brushed and it is a good thing too. Her long white fur is needs a brushing right now, but with a little love Jesse will be a dazzlingly attractive white kitty.

Cognac is a dazzlingly sweet, though occasionally timid, six year old spayed golden retriever. She walks well on a leash and loves getting out and about for exercise. Though she is cordial with other dogs, Cognac needs to go into a home where she will be the only dog. Why? She has joules of amorous energy to beam out, but like most loving ladies, she'd prefer not to share.

Dusty is a pleasant, mellow little chinchilla. He is the kind guy who would probably read the sports section of the paper first, though he wouldn't be likely to make varsity even if he were allowed to play on the JDHS basketball team. He's a five year old friendly little guy.

Rosaline hasn't met anyone she didn't LOVE yet. She's the kind of kitty who thinks her dish of milk is half full. She is a bit of a talker, and if you were to head down to the Gastineau Humane Society to visit her she'd probably tell you all about herself. For starters, she is two and three quarters, she likes all of the other cats at GHS well enough to invite to her birthday party, and when she grows up she thinks she wants to be an astronaut or a ballerina.

GHS is open for viewing from 3-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
