This month's Woosh Kinaadeiyí open mic and poetry slam will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in the UAS Rec Center as part of the university's Sound and Motion Series.
The event, open to poets and performers of all ages and all abilities, will be hosted by Dee Jay DeRego and Colin Calk, with music by DJ Manu.

Woosh Kinaadeiyí is a local nonprofit committed to diversity, inclusive community, and empowering voice. The organization hosts monthly poetry slams and open mics throughout the community.
