At 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb 19, KTOO will host "What's happening to the Arctic? A thinking perso's guide to the future" by Dr. Neil Hamilton. Hamilton will discuss the effects of climate change in the Arctic, why this is globally important, and why we need improved governance, planning and conservation.
Hamilton has led the Oslo-based World Wildlife Fund's Arctic Program for the past two years, overseeing experts in climate change, arctic species, governance, and communications. He has extensive experience in the development and management of large-scale international environmental research programs.
