Author, storyteller nominated for JUNO
Children's author Robert Munsch's newest storytelling performance CD, "Murmel Murmel Munsch!" received a 2007 JUNO Award nomination in the Children's Album Of The Year category. The JUNO Awards acknowledge artistic and technical achievement in all aspects of the music of Canada.

"Murmel Murmel Munsch!" captures this storyteller as he performs 14 new and old stories, including classics such as "Mud Puddle," "Andrew's Loose Tooth," "Zoom! Something Good," "Makeup Mess," "Pigs, Boo!," "I'm So Embarrassed," "Murmel, Murmel, Murmel!" and many more.

The CD has also been nominated for a Canadian Music Week "Independent Music Award" and has been selected as a finalist in the 2007 Audies awards.

Robert Munsch's debut CD, Love You Forever - The Best of Robert Munsch, won a Parents' Choice-award.

Munsch is one of North America's best-selling children's authors and storytellers. With more than 30 million books sold and more than 40 books in print, Munsch has earned a host of awards and recognitions, including appointment as a Member of the Order of Canada, an honorary Ph.D. from the University of Guelph, and "Author of the Year" from the Canadian Booksellers Association.

He is the annual chairperson for Family Literacy Day each January and a supporter of many charitable events.
