The Young Company

Perseverance Theatre is looking for students between the ages of 12-17 to join The Young Company. Members are a talented group of students who work and train with theatre artists in developing their own productions. This spring pre-teens and teenagers will write, produce and perform an original piece for the public. Rehearsals are from 4-6 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the Phoenix Lab space and begin on Tuesday, Feb. 13. Performances dates are the weekend of May 4. Tuition fee is $375. This show is presented by First City Players of Ketchikan. Ted Tally's award-winning play comes to life on the Kayhi stage March 2-3 and 8-9. In late 1911, five Englishmen and five Norwegians raced to be first to the South Pole.Call 225-4792 for information.
