Dinner, jazz concert to benefit Juneau school band
"Hot Spaghetti Cool Jazz," a dinner accompanied by jazz music and a dessert auction, will be the final major fundraiser coordinated by the Juneau High School Band Boosters for the 51 JDHS student musicians that are scheduled to perform in the New York Wind Band Festival at Carnegie Hall in March.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the JDHS Jazz Band with an intermission debut by the Floyd Dryden Jazz Band.

The event will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 in the JDHS Commons.

Advance tickets are available at Hearthside Books for $10 for adults, $5 for students (ages 2-9) and $30 for families.
