Beer and wine tasting in support of Juneau Montessori School

On Feb. 4, from 6-9 p.m. at the Rockwell Ballroom, there will be a beer and wine tasting in support of the Juneau Montessori School.

There will be appetizers from The Rockwell and wine and beer provided by Specialty Imports and K&L Distributors.

Taylor Vidic, Erika Lee and Juneau Soul and TW Funk Band will provide music, and Geoff Kirsch will play a 30-minute set of “The Geoff Kirsch Experience Experiment Project.”

For the silent auction, there will be jewelry, massages, art, food and more up for bid, courtesy of Temsco, The Red Lady, Arbonne, Best Western, The Coconut, Forno Rosso Alaska, Cycle Alaska, The Yoga Path, Papa John’s, Jerry’s Barber Shop, Perseverance Theater, Rejuvenation Spa and others. There will also be a dessert auction, which One Hot Mess blogger Libby Bakalar and Kirsch will emcee.

Money raised will go toward upgrading Montessori’s outdoor play-scape for the students and children from the Juneau community to enjoy. The plan is purchase a high tunnel green house to start a farm to table program.
