Adult Education Center, SERRC change name for programs
The Learning Connection
The Juneau Adult Education Center and SERRC's Family Learning Centers will be changing its name to The Learning Connection, a name that better represents the services provided by SERRC's various community service programs.

Currently, TLC provides free GED and adult education services, computer training, family education programs, and job assistance programs at four locations throughout Juneau.

Activities for the next week include, family night from 5:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Gruening Park and Cedar Park.

These monthly events invite residents to take part in fun literacy activities.

The Learning Connection at 210 Ferry Way, formerly the Juneau Adult Education Center, is open every day during business hours.

During this time, students of all ages are studying for their GED; receiving reading, writing, and math instruction, or improving their English as a Second Language skills.
