JUNEAU - Leaders in business, government and education unite for the 2013 Innovation Summit hosted by the Juneau Economic Development Council, Feb. 11-13, 2013 at Centennial Hall in Juneau.
The vision of the summit is to bring together key industry groups and individuals to cultivate ideas and develop strategies to strengthen industries in our communities and region.
Presentations will include topics such as: the role of business innovation in the regional economy, the melding of social and business value and the government's role in supporting innovation. There will be collaborative sessions on growing industry in Southeast Alaska and opportunities to meet industry peers and local, state and federal governing officials.
Speakers invited include Patrick Quinton of The Portland Development Commission, Dane Smith of FSG and Senator Jim Kastama of Washington State.
