Juneau invited to celebrate the inauguration over breakfast

JUNEAU - Juneau citizens will have an opportunity to witness history when they watch live the presidential inauguration of Barack Obama on a giant TV screen at Centennial Hall on Tuesday, Jan. 20.

"Breakfast with the President" will take place from 7:15 until 10 a.m. at Centennial Hall Ballroom #3. Sponsored by the Juneau World Affairs Council, the free event will give the community access to live TV coverage of the historic inauguration from Washington, D.C.

Organizer Claire Richardson says there will be free coffee served courtesy of Heritage Coffee Company of Juneau. Potluck breakfast foods such as coffee cake and fresh fruit would be welcome.

Please call Claire at 463-5591 to volunteer food or assist at the breakfast.
