JUNEAU - The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council invites everyone to start creating for this incredibly popular fashion show that exhibits Juneau at its most stylishly inventive. This year's theme is "Altered State".
Handcrafted designs of all imaginable materials are encouraged and welcomed. Download the application form from www.jahc.org, and submit via email only to firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications are due Jan. 15 at 5 pm. There is no entry fee this year, and each entry receives one ticket to each show.
Wearable Art will be held on Feb. 14 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 15 at 3 p.m. at Centennial Hall. The Saturday Show is a fundraiser for the Juneau Arts & Humanities artist grants and student scholarships. The Sunday Show is a fundraiser for the Juneau Arts & Culture Center. Tickets for the event are already on sale to Arts Council members and will go on sale Jan. 15th for the general public.
