The making and delivery of handmade stockings is part of their annual "Christmas Stocking for Disadvantaged Children" project.
This year's recipients include St. Vincent DePaul's "Adopt a Family" program, and the A.W.A.R.E. Shelter's annual holiday party. Stockings were handmade by JCGMFA members throughout the summer months from donated material and filled with charitable contributions from local businesses and private individuals. Stockings were made for children in the age range of newborn to teenager.
Stockings were delivered on Dec. 19.
