Aiding Women in Abuse and Rape Emergencies (AWARE), Inc. has announced the 2009 Women of Distinction. Angela Lunda, Ann Boochever, Marla Berg and Marsha Buck were chosen for their dedication and relentless service to peace, to justice and to the empowerment of women. They will be honored by AWARE and the community at Centennial Hall on March 7 with a catered dinner, silent auction, and speeches by each of the women about what inspires them.
