Campaign a win-win situation

Del Stacy of Ketchikan was one of several winners of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Alaska "Refer-a-Friend" contest. He received $250 worth of gift certificates from Safeway, Chevron and Tongass Trading from Sharli Hayter of BBBS. As a result of the contest, 64 adults are now ready to be matched with little brothers and little sisters who have been on a waiting list. Winners celebrating across the Panhandle include;

Juneau/Yakutat, Meg Day, ($250 gift certificate to Foggy Mountain Shop); Haines/Skagway, Greg and Carol Goodman ($350 fine art print from Catotti and Goldberg Arts Studio); Hoonah, Kathy Deitering, ($250 gift certificate at Ace Hardware);Sitka, Jeanine Brooks, ($250 gift certificate at Orion Sporting Goods); and regional winner of 20,000 Alaska Airline miles, Rose Mary Ryman of Yakutat.
