SEARHC to hold several Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinics
The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic in Sitka will hold a pediatric dental clinic the week of Jan. 7-11, with SEARHC and Kake Health Center will to hold the Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic Jan. 14-18. Dr. Kristi Linsenmayer will lead the pediatric dental team for these clinics.

SEARHC and Haines Health Center will hold the Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic Jan. 28-Feb. 1, with SEARHC and the Yakutat Community Health Center to hold the clinic Feb. 4-8.

Dr. Lee Steinle will lead the pediatric dental team for these clinics.

This pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week.

The clinic is open to children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or Medicaid.

To schedule an appointment for an exam, call the SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic at 966-8343 in Sitka, Selma Jackson at the SEARHC Kake Health Center at 785-3333, Michele Wing at the SEARHC Haines Health Center at 766-6372 or the Yakutat Community Health Center at 784-3275.

Denali KidCare is a state program that provides health insurance and access to health care for Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and for expecting mothers who meet income guidelines. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
