NEWS Capital City Weekly JUNEAU - The 2009 Alaska-Juneau Public Market will be held from 12-8 p.m. on Nov. 27 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 28 and 29 at Centennial Hall. Over 175 vendors representing 26 Alaskan communities will display and sell artwork, handicrafts, clothing, soaps, toys, wild berry products and more. Many items are unique to the market and will not be available elsewhere. Admission is $5 per person. Additional booths will be open at the Public Market Annex at the Juneau Arts and Culture Center. Admission to the annex is free of charge. Nov. 29 will be a family day featuring special entertainment, prizes and visits with Santa. For more information about the market, call 586-1166.
