OUTDOORS Photo By Michelle Nickerson Zombies invaded the city of Craig on Saturday, Oct. 27, searching for fresh victims. The fourth annual Halloween Fun Run, organized by the Prince of Wales Runners Club, was transformed as zombie volunteers hid along the three kilometer course. Runners and walkers attached belts and flags, usually seen in flag football games, and tried to negotiate the course without losing their "lives," er, flags, to the "mindless marauding zombies." Fifteen walking dead waited along the course for the right moment to attack one of the runners and walkers. Returning to the start/finish line at Annie Betty's Coffeehouse with no flags meant that runners/walkers had not survived and therefore couldn't receive a race time. It was all in fun though.
