NEWS Capital City Weekly Ruth Pechay, (seated left) of the Ketchikan Indian Community Tribal Health Clinic and her daughter Anita Marie Pechay-Seludo (middle), partnered with PATHSTAR Founder/Director Dr. Nancy Iverson (far right) for a presentation at the American Indian Institute's 11th Native Women and Men's Wellness Conference held March 18-22 in San Diego, Calif. Tribal Health Clinic member Bill Hardy also attended the conference (standing). The KIC members discussed their diabetes program and the work they're doing with PATHSTAR to inspire healthy nutrition and active lifestyle practices. The conference brought together tribal members from American Indian, Alaska Native and Canadian First Nation communities, representatives of tribal health systems, public health researchers and clinicians.
