The Capital City Weekly (CCW) is Southeast Alaska's most widely distributed newspaper. The CCW covers news, features, arts and entertainment, outdoors activities and business in Southeast Alaska communities, from Metlakatla to Yakutat and everywhere in between. The CCW also publishes the only events calendar for all of Southeast Alaska. Special online features include SPOTTED photo galleries and two blogs, the Log Book and (P)review.
The CCW produces many special publications, including the Monthly Home & Real Estate Guide, Women in Business, the Southeast Alaska Harbor Guide, the Southeast Alaska Employment Guide and the National Engineers Week tab.
The CCW is distributed free of charge on Wednesdays to the following Southeast Alaska communities: Angoon, Auke Bay, Craig, Douglas, Elfin Cove, Gustavus, Haines, Hawk Inlet, Hoonah, Hydaburg, Juneau, Kake, Ketchikan, Klawock, Metlakatla, Pelican, Petersburg, Sitka, Skagway, Tenakee, Thorne Bay, Wrangell and Yakutat.
